About the association
School sport, built together.
SSSA brings schools together around shared standards, meaningful competition and the belief that sport is part of a young person’s education.
Mission
High-quality opportunity for every young athlete.
SSSA is an inclusive non-profit association made up of schools in and around Shanghai. Its mission is to provide a balanced range of high-quality, age-appropriate competitive opportunities throughout the school year.
Events are designed to develop relationships, model strong competitive behaviour and reinforce skills learned in practice, with gender equality and a broad range of sports at the centre.
How we work
Shared ownership
Schools contribute
Members host events, attend meetings and uphold association standards.
Competition educates
Results matter, but sportsmanship and character matter more.
